October 16, 2010 We visited the fort.. A beautiful evening out. We found no hard evidence of Paranormal activity. The K-2's were giving us readings.....but I think it was from the people in our group who did not turn off their cell phones......because every once in a while.....you could hear one vibrate. I think a small group of 2-3 would be better then a noisy group of 11. A very dissappointing adventure for me personally.....because I had a very personal paranormal experience when I was a kid.....ON the ISLAND!

Im going on the ghost tour tonight at 8 o'clock; and I really hope to have such an encounter. I've always been eager to capture some evience and actually encounter a remarkable situation like it. Im only 11 (going on 12); but that doesn't change my intrest in Paranormal Activity...... Ill post tomorrow if I find any cool stuff!!!!

Oh, and this is my 3rd time visiting the Fort. I visited the first time in May on a class field trip, the 2nd time in mid-June while my Aunt and Uncle visited from the middle of the country; and I am SO super excited for tonight. Though I am a coward, so I'll probably run out of the endicotts (I feel so claustrophobic and srange in there) like I did last time. :p

Well, wish me luck!!! :)

Hey this was our first time to the Fort DE Oct 29th 2009 7 pm tour and a few interesting things happened. First in the Endicott my Girlfriend was walking hand in hand with me and in one of the dark walkways something hit her left elbow, she immediately asked me if I hit her elbow and I told her and she saw that both of my hands were in front of me, She checked with a flashlight to make sure there were no wet marks on her coat since there were drops of water leaking though the ceiling and her coat was dry no wet mark and at the same time a young girl asked her mother if she ran her fingers thru her hair because she felt like someone did. and after coming home and just browsing thru our photos and Video recording we found a few unexplained things one which is a voice we picked up ...so overall it was a interesting experience. thanks guys

Kathryn, I can promise you it'll be VERY legit. No strings, sounds, or anything 'fishy'.

I can also promise you that many DGH members are as skeptical (if not more) as you. I'd say maybe 2 people in our whole group are solid believers... and the rest of us annoy them with questions, it's VERY entertaining to be a fly on the wall during our evidence analysis. I question everything, EVERYTHING. The evidence the group posts, we post because we can not explain it. We try to shy from saying it's ghost activity... yet we do hold out hope that one day we can say, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that we have 100% solid proof of the paranormal, but all groups hope for that. So I don't know if you'll ever be convinced, I've seen things I can't explain, yet I'm still not convinced. I still question every personal experience I have had.

Looking forward to your investigation on 10/17. Hoping that it will be educational and professional. We were at the Fort in Aug and actually met one of your investigators. I've had a couple personal experiences but i remain on the fence. I'm hoping that the investigation will be legit as I am very curious but still not convinced.

Jim, Paul, & Kathleen.

I agree with you guys completely. In all honesty those 'investigations' are supposed to be more-so to give a small fright as opposed to produce any hard evidence of the paranormal. The Fort has the best intentions to produce paranormal evidence (<a href="/fd-announcement/" rel="nofollow">as exemplified here</a>).

EVPs are a VERY hard thing to prove. With the whistling, we have video of the room during the activity, and you can clearly see no one is whistling and they act as if they never heard it. Granted, the camera didn't have audio setup (IR Camera run to a DVR) so I didn't think of posting it here; however if you feel it'll help I'd gladly do so.

I urge you all to take a look at the October paranormal investigations happening at the Fort this October. I can PROMISE you that it'll be professionally run. There will be no 'dancing or singing' on cue. It'll be legit investigations, no plants, no false hits, 100% para-hunt. It'll be like fishing in the dark, you're honestly more likely to not get a 'bite', but it's the thrill that counts. We'll teach you the equipment, our techniques, and you'll use them yourself as we hunt the Fort. Being in the Fort with all the lights killed, walking the grounds with nothing but a flashlight, sitting in silence in rooms that used to ring loud. It's going to be nothing short of fantastic.

Seriously though, if you are interested I'd call Fort Delaware to reserve a ticket now, as they are pre-selling, and selling quickly.
