dgh_shirtsSorry for the lack of updates as of late, as many of you can imagine we have been swamped (literally & figuratively) with Fort Delaware. With a Nor’easter, heavy winds, and lots and lots of rain; Delaware State Parks & DGH had to roll with Mother Nature’s punches and try to maintain their set schedule- unfortunately Mother Nature won out quite a bit. Those of you who know, 2 tours were postponed in light of the weather- and because of that our work load has increased; not that we are complaining!

With that said- there are still a select few tickets available for the extended 6-hour tours on October 30 & 31st. We know $150 might be a lot, but we can promise you it’ll be worth it- as you’ll see parts of the Fort you can’t even see during the daylight hours! We’ll trek you through the ‘prison walk’ where many confederate soldiers were laid to rest, the privates barracks, and more!! So give it a second thought, 100% of the proceeds go to repair & restoration of the Fort- so it’s money VERY well spent!

Speaking of money- we have been asked time and time again if our DGH ‘Hunt the Fort’ sweatshirts are available for sale. After much talk and consideration- we decided to make 2 versions available for those interested. A tee-shirt, stating ‘I Investigated Fort Delaware’, and a replica of our hoodies.
