In fact I went there believing there was going to be some spiritual connection between me and another spiritual being. A short story...I was in Gettysburg camping and went on a "ghost tour" and back then in summer 09, oh yeah i was a skeptic. Thought a haunting and all that came with it was all a big hoax until....something or someone started touching my hair. Now im not talking a breeze blowing my hair. My 12 yo son was sitting next to me and i had to actually ask him to stop "messing with my hair". I looked down and both of his hands were folded on his lap.I turned around and kindly asked the two mid aged ladies if they had touched or gently pulled my hair to get a rise out of me and they saw my hair moving and they looked as if they had seen a ghost. OK, at this point I'm ready to get up and outta there but i stick it out and tell the guide that this is happening and he reinforces the fact that this is a little boy and says your a nurse arent you he only really does this to nurses. he knows you are kind hearted and you are the ones who tried to save him and identified him as Jeremy. So i calmed down. Not 5 minutes later i could feel his breath on my ear and I had 4 bobby pins in my hair at the time and ALL 4 fell out one by one. As if to say i'm still here pay attention to me. I payed attention alright! I hauled my butt right outta there. Now in the kitchen at Pea Patch Island, i felt this spirit in the room. I had goose bumps as we walked in. I didnt say anything, just stood there by myself in the corner at the end where no one could touch me. I knew if something was going to happen, it would be right there in this room. As the lights were off, the girl next to me said her arm got ice cold and lo and behold, something tugged on the sleave of my sweater. I dont care if anyone believes me or not, makes fun of me but i truly believe that i am someway a spiritual person that has a connection to the other side. I didnt have another experience that night. this was OCt 22,09 I just wish i couldve stayed longer and had more time to explore and really had another "experience" as i did in the kitchen. The sound track should be taken off if anyone really wants someone to take it seriously. Don't get me wrong. I occassionally go looking myself and I can accept that sometimes it's real.
